The primary goal of the Fourth Judicial District Attorney’s Domestic Violence Section is to provide for the safety of victims of domestic violence and aggressively prosecute offenders. The Domestic Violence Section is glad to partner with other local community organizations such as the Well Spring and Family Justice Center in the fight against Domestic Violence.

In Morehouse Parish, the Victim’s Assistance Coordinator’s Office is located in the District Attorney Office’s at the Morehouse Parish Courthouse. The contact number is 318-281-4907.
The Child Support Enforcement Section of the Fourth Judicial District Attorney’s offers a variety of resources to residents of Ouachita and Morehouse Parishes. This Section works in partnership with the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services to provide assistance in establishing paternity, as well as, establishing and enforcing child support obligations.
The Fourth Judicial District Attorneys’ Office maintains staff dedicated to assisting the public with applying for Temporary Protective Orders. These orders are available to people who fall within the class of “protected persons” for each type of order. The DA’s office is available to assist with the initial filing phase of this process.....
